Official Listing of THE CPI GROUP, INC.s' Ranking to the “2007 INC. 500 LIST” of Fastest Growing Private Companies in the Nation announced…

Columbus... A celebration began today in downtown Columbus, Mississippi as an Official Release for The CPI Group, Inc. from Inc. Magazine and the “Inc.500 List” was read aloud to employees and staff.  Out of the top 500 fastest growing private companies in the Nation, The CPI Group, Inc. rejoiced in their ranking of 242, and of being the only business that made the top 500 rankings from the state of Mississippi!  An outstanding achievement considering out of the tens of thousands of companies who submitted applications, The CPI Group, Inc. excelled in the top half out of the 500 companies selected!

Michelle Daniels, Staffing Director for The CPI Group, Inc. exclaimed, "What an amazing and humbling opportunity to be on the Inc. 500 List and among its members.”  She continued, “We proudly share this award with all who have contributed to our success as well as with our state and with the communities where we work and call home.  The journey has just begun!"

For more than 25 years, Inc. Magazine has celebrated the remarkable achievements of today’s entrepreneurial superstars with the Inc. 500 List.  The Inc. 500 List recognizes the accomplishments and actions of the most flourishing, fasting growing, private, entrepreneurial companies in the Nation.  Over the years, Inc. Magazine has recognized Microsoft, Timberland, and Domino’s Pizza, long before they became the household branding legends they are today.  Inc. Magazine is familiar with the many challenges associated with building and operating a business in today’s economic whirlwind.  This award is the Premier business award for private companies and their growth in the United States.

In celebration of the award, a reception is being held by way of the upcoming September “Business After Hours” which is held by the Columbus-Lowndes Development Link and which will be hosted by The Magnolia Directory.  A portion of the evening’s festivities will honor and recognize The CPI Group, Inc.

On September 6th- 8th, 2007, The CPI Group, Inc. will attend the Inc. 500 Awards Gala and Reception which will be held in Chicago, IL.
