CPI Group, Inc. awards Lowndes County high school student with its 2005 Steven King Memorial Scholarship

Adam Luka of Heritage Academy recently received the Steven King Memorial Scholarship as the top area High School senior of Lowndes County for 2005. Mark A. Smith, President and Owner of The CPI Group, Inc. founded the scholarship in 1998 to honor his fellow U.S. Marine, Steven Scott King, a native of Columbus. King was killed in the line of duty in 1998 while stationed in California. He completed 2 overseas tours and was a decorated veteran of the Persian Gulf War.
