What
are the benefits of using CPI?
1. We use
a performance-based hiring method to help determine a person's
future performance. Our research assistants speak directly with
former employers of our applicants and attempt to gain a full
knowledge of the person's past experience. (See
Reference Checks)
2. We will conduct a county criminal background check on all applicants who reside in Lowndes, Oktibbeha, and Clay counties before they are eligible for hire.
CPI can also perform additional
background checks at your request.
3. The CPI
Group, Inc. is able to perform multiple skill
tests to evaluate the skills applicants report in their resumé
or interview.
4. There are
many cost-saving benefits to using contract/temporary staffing.
We allow you to hire a larger workforce when your company needs
it and let them go when you do not. This can save the employer
thousands of dollars, as benefits do not have to be offered to
contract employees.
5. As a busy
employer we can save time and money for you, as you will only
schedule time from your day to interview candidates we have prescreened
with the qualifications you have specified. As 40 hours a week
seems never enough anymore, we can make sure that the applicants
you interview have the best qualifications to fill your position.
6. We specialize
in matching people to positions that will be beneficial to both
parties. Outsourcing your hiring needs allows you to let the professionals
help you achieve your goal.
What
control will I have over employees on The CPI Group payroll?
We make every
attempt to allow employers to be in as much control as they would
like of their employees. We allow you to decide what day they
are paid on, what hours they will work, any corrective measures
that need to be made, etc. We also can help manage these aspects
if you do not want to control them while they are on our payroll.
Historically we find temporary/contract employees do best when
there is little distinction between them and your full-time staff.
How
do your fees work?
Our fee schedule
is based on the type of employment contract we have previously
agreed upon (see contract/temporary staffing) (click through).
Our fee is based on the dollar figure you intend to pay the employee
while on our payroll. A rate is determined which includes: Workers
Comp Insurance, FICA, Federal and State Unemployment Insurance
and Administrative fees. This is calculated as follows:
Administrative
Assistant
$10.00 (employee pay rate) x 1.50 (bill rate) =
$15.00 (total billed per hour)
How
does billing work?
You will be
billed as your employees are paid. For example if paid weekly
an invoice will show the name of the employee, number of hours
worked that week and bill rate per hour. These invoices are due
net 12.
What
if I want someone to be placed on my payroll before the contracted
hours are completed?
We are happy
to allow you to place employees on your payroll at any point.
We see this as a success for us as we have found you a viable
solution to your employment needs. A Buyout Fee will be established
based on the number of hours the employee has left in their contract.
This fee is paid in full and the employee can immediately roll
onto your payroll. Of course, at the end of all contracted hours
an employee can immediately roll onto your payroll with no other
fees charged.
