CPI & the Columbus Link Present Lunch & Learn

The CPI Group, Inc., together with the Columbus-Lowndes Development LINK presented a "Lunch & Learn" Seminar on Thursday, May 1st. The event was held at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library on Thursday, May 1st. Captioned "Motivating Employees," the seminar was facilitated by Mr. Tom Wagner, from the Wagner Consulting Group, which is a Business Development and Enhancement firm based in Madison, Mississippi.

The seminar was at full capacity with approximately 45 participants in attendance, from all walks of the professional realm. Mr. Wagner covered four motivational levers and taught a 4-step approach to motivation for employers and employees alike.

Wagner Consulting Group, in existence for over 15 years, focuses and specializes in executive coaching and leadership development at all levels for all business categories. "We accelerate profitable growth through executive coaching, employee development, and strategic planning," states company founder and president, Mr. Tom Wagner. Mr. Wagner held senior management positions in the banking, energy, and telecommunications industries, after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Science from Florida State University in 1972. . In addition to this broad general management background, he brings hands-on experience in leading start-up companies through successful growth stages, mergers and acquisitions, and organizational restructuring.

Lunch & Learn seminars are a program designed by the Columbus-Lowndes Development LINK and are a series of workshops presented throughout the year that include topics such as "customer service, disaster management, and energy education." The LINK partners with its members who are local business owners throughout Columbus, Lowndes County, and the state of Mississippi.
